Covid-19 3D Printed Face Shields Update

The original 3D printed "visor" design.

Overhead transparency sheets are cut with a laser cutter to trim the sheet and cut holes along one edge in order for it to be attached to the 3D printed "visor:.

On  April 8th, an anonymous donor provided funds for a 2nd 3D printer
and 17 spools of filament.
The printer arrived on April 10th.

It took pretty much all the muscle of my hillbilly physique to lug it upstairs.

Ready to go!

I brought the original 3D Printer upstairs from the garage on April 11th.
Much more efficient to have them side-by-side.

By Easter Sunday, an additional 150 had been produced and delivered for distribution.

Now hoping the high winds predicted for Monday April 13th
won't cause a power outage and delay production.
